Château Montrose 1973

Main characteristics of the vintage
The early and fair spring favoured the vine growth. A sunny June (mid-blossoming on June 11th) allowed a good fertilization. The fair weather maintained till August 15th. Then, rain spells occurred with changeable and cloudy skies, followed by low temperatures for the season. September alternated with sun, clouds, and average temperatures.
The crop was of a very good quality and maturity.
